EC epsilon version 2.00

The latest version of the epsilon EC software is fully functional. Users may update to this version and it may also be downloaded by non-users as demo software. If the software is opened without the epsilon connected, then all the techniques in the technique list box are labeled as "demo". If a "demo" technique is selected, a Windows file dialog box will open to allow the operator to select a data file for that particular technique. The operator can then examine the input parameters and typical output for that technique.

Epsilon users should note that there are different configurations for the epsilon, some of which vary in the number of available techniques. The basic epsilon software can be used for cyclic and linear sweep voltammetries, controlled potential electrolysis, chronoamperometry/chronocoulometry, DC amperometry, chronopotentiometry, and potentiometry. Other techniques (such as square wave voltammetry) require the optional Basic-Plus software package. If the Basic-Plus software package has not been purchased, then these optional techniques will remain labeled as "demo" even if the epsilon is connected.

Please note that there are different versions of the epsilon upgrade, depending on which Windows system is used (9x/ME or 2000/XP/Vista) and whether computer connection is via serial or usb port. Please ensure that the version appropriate for your system is downloaded.
