After all the data from a microdialysis experiment has been carefully accumulated, it is critical to confirm that the probe was correctly positioned within the targeted region of the brain.
A brain matrix makes this task much more convenient. This rugged tool guides razor blades through slots in the matrix to evenly slice harvested brain tissue into uniform sections.
Coronal and saggital versions are offered. Small animal matrices are sliced at 1 mm intervals, while larger animal brains are sliced at 2 mm intervals.
Original castings of brains from twelve species are reproduced in corrosion-resistant zinc to create the BASi Brain Matrix. Matrices are easily cleaned and sterilized.
