The Baby Bee syringe pump alone has neither power nor control features. It requires a separate controller to act as a fully functional syringe pump.

The Worker Bee Controller offers more flexible control of flow rate. This compact box connects to a single Baby Bee by a cable and offers switch-selectable flow rates ranging from 0.1 µL/min to 100 µL/min in 16 steps. When using a 1.0 mL syringe, these rates are 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 0.8 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 8, 10, 20, 50 and 100 µL/min. Other syringe sizes are easily substituted. With a full 1.0 mL syringe, the total available perfusion time at these flow rates ranges from 10 minutes to 6.9 days without a syringe change.

The Bee Hive offers the equivalent of four Worker Bees in a single cabinet, providing control for four Baby Bees at independent and variable flow rates. The flow selection switch displays the rate delivered when a 1 mL syringe is used, but any size syringe from 10 µL to 5 mL may be used. If you need to independently control from two to four syringe drives, the Bee Hive is the compact, cost-effective answer.
