BASi Stereotaxic Frame and Micromanipulator
This precise, yet economical, stereotaxic instrument offers several attractive features for both the novice and the experienced stereotaxic surgeon. Designed with an open "C" frame, the unit provides access to the animal from all sides. Each axis is positioned via precise micrometer style indicators. The micrometer style controls eliminate the confusing vernier scales found on lesser instruments. The instrument's nonmetallic base facilitates maintaining your animal's homeostatic body temperature as compared to those with heat-robbing aluminum bases.
Tilt and Swivel: 90 degrees of Tilt and 360 degrees of Swivel with a single lock-levered mechanism
The MD-3000 features calibration on all axes. Each of the lead screws offers 3 mm of travel along the slide for each full revolution. A high resolution option with 1 mm travel is also available.
